INSARR - Integrated Safety Assessment for Research Reactors
The Safety review Service INSARR is provided upon request to all Member States. It is a peer review of the safety of research reactors against IAEA Safety Standards and provides recommendations for safety improvements. To date, 65 INSARR missions were implemented in research reactors in different regions of the world.
Scope:
INSARR missions cover all safety areas of research reactors. Key review areas include design, safety analysis, operational limits and conditions, regulatory supervision, reactor operation and maintenance, ageing management, radiation protection and waste management, and experiments and modifications. The host organization may request a full-scope INSARR or a review of a specific area(s).

SEDO - Safety Evaluation of Fuel Cycle Facilities during Operation
The aim of the Safety Evaluation of Fuel Cycle Facilities During Operation (SEDO) Safety Review Service is to assist the requesting Member State in enhancing the operational safety of FCFs and to promote the continuous development of operational safety by the dissemination of information on good safety practices to other Member States with FCFs.
SEDO is intended to be a peer review conducted by a team of international experts with experience in the operational and technical areas being evaluated. Judgments on the safety performance of the facility are based on IAEA FCF Safety Standards.
The facilities currently covered by SEDO are: conversion and enrichment facilities, fuel fabrication facilities, spent fuel storage facilities, reprocessing facilities and associated waste conditioning facilities and fuel cycle research and development facilities.
